The Gateway to SarasotaThe Gateway to Sarasota is located at the northwest corner of Fruitville Road and I-75 (exit 39) and contains approximately 85.5 acres.

The project was designed by Lyman Davidson Dooley, Inc., of Marietta, Georgia, specialists in office building and park designs, to meet the needs of both large and smaller office users. The project is Deed Restricted and Design Controlled to maximize the aesthetics. An interested party can either lease space, lease a" build to suit" building, or under certain circumstances, they can buy land and build their own building.

Verizon has worked closely with The Gateway to Sarasota to design and construct an advanced communications infrastructure known as a Verizon SmartPark. The Verizon SmartPark Telecommunications Service is a network service concept that concentrates on providing total communications connectivity to a designated business park development. The park complex is supported by a communications infrastructure that provides the capacity and connectivity necessary for all voice, data and video applications. This infrastructure enables fiber optic and other technologies to be provided in a quick and efficient manner. The objective is to ensure that the Verizon SmartPark facility has a telecommunications infrastructure that will accommodate any potential tenant's communications requirements in a timely manner, no matter what they may be. Verizon planners design the infrastructure in a manner that minimizes distances from the tenant to the loop, so that the cleanest service possible is deployed. Fiber optics is the medium of choice in all Verizon SmartParks although sufficient copper pairs are also installed to ensure accessibility to any and all network services. Whether business operations demand basic voice services or complex data services, Verizon effectively anticipates and addresses telecommunications concerns. The Gateway to Sarasota has an infrastructure to accommodate telecommunications requirements now and into the future. High speed, error-free data, voice and video transmissions are readily available to all park tenants.
